WHY DO I LOVE PAINTING

I love painting because it is an excellent way of expressing one's feelings and emotions.

Probably because I also love travelling.

I have lived in 5 diffrents countries and have travelled in 27 African countries.

Painting is for me another way of travelling around different borders and cultures.

I am a very passionate person especially on everything that concerns Arts.

Love paintings, photography, interior Decoration, writing, cooking, publishing, walking, swimming and so many other things.

But painting comes at the first hobby. I believe that painting is an excellent way of expression.

Born in Ghana, I grew up in Benin and have lived in Togo, Nigeria, Tchad, France, Germany and for the past 4 years in Kigali, Rwanda.

My passion for painting manifested itself 5 years ago after going through a surgeon in Dakar, Senegal.

Sensuality and manipulation of paint drives my work with lots of collage with fabrics, newspaper, plants etc...The colors I use often are very bright.

My painting identity has developed a diverse practice incorporating both portraiture and abstract work.

I love painting african scenes probably because of the numerous travellings I have been priviledged to do (28 African countries).
